Child Safety Standards
Moxie’s Matches is an adults-only (18+) lifestyle dating
app operated by THTM LLC. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and
exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page explains
how we prevent, detect, report, and remove such content and behavior, in line
with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards and applicable law.
Our commitment
Moxie’s Matches is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We prohibit — and
will remove — any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or
endangers a child. Any account involved in CSAE is permanently banned, and we
report to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
What CSAE means
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is any content or behavior that
sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child (anyone under 18). This
includes, without limitation:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any image, video, or depiction of a
minor in a sexual context; - grooming, sexual solicitation, or sextortion of a minor;
- trafficking or any other sexual exploitation of a minor;
- a minor using, or attempting to use, the app.
How we prevent and act on CSAE
- Adults only. Signing up requires confirming you are 18
or older, and any account found to belong to a minor is removed. - Reporting is built in. Every profile can be reported
from inside the app (see below). - We review and remove. We remove any content that appears
to violate this policy and disable the accounts responsible. - We report to authorities. We report apparent CSAM to the
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the
appropriate authorities, and cooperate with law enforcement, as required by
applicable law.
